Collier Middle School Extended School Year Program
Our State approved summer extended year program begins July 5, and ends August 11, 2017. The hours of the program are: 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Our theme this year is “Accepting the Triple Crown Challenge”. Students will be concentrating on completing three challenges in the areas of academics, the arts and physical fitness. During our five week session we will continue our academic program in the areas of math, science, literacy and history with an over arching cocurricular theme of developing study and social skills in order to meet the challenges of the “Triple Crown”.
Students will attend weekly field trips as part of the summer curriculum.
Students will also explore and have fun on our campus by swimming, biking, hiking, frogging, archery, music and art.
The program will culminate in the final week with “Triple Crown” festivities highlighting student accomplishments and recognition.
